.yourwelcome.

So gazpacho, its delicious and refreshing and perfect for the spring-summer time.. so delicious that I made two.

I made his gazpacho first. This is a GREEN machine.

His Ingredients DSC_0032

☮ 3 Green Apples

☮ 3 Pears

☮ 2 Cucumbers

☮ 1 bag of Fresh Spinach

☮ two limes

☮ 1/4 cup of Onion

☮ 2 cloves of Garlic

☮ 1/2 of a Fresh Jalapeno

☮ Olive Oil

☮ Red Wine Vinegar

☮ Bundle of Italian parsley DSC_0006

☮ Handful of Mint

☮ Handful of Basil

☮ Salt

☮ Pepper

☮ One Slice of day old french bread soaked in cold water for 15 minutes

Please begin by heating your olive oil and onions in a pan on medium, add your spinach once your onions are sizzling (this is the only thing you will be cooking) -

Begin rough chopping the rest of your ingredients and adding them into a bowl or blender.

Once your spinach is finished cooking you will begin blending all your ingredients (fruit, vegis, herbs, olive oil, vinegar and spices)

I found that the there was not enough liquid with the fruits and vegis alone so i soaked one slice of french bread in water for about fifteen minutes – squeezed the excess water from the bread and added it to the blender.

Blend until smooth – Chill for one hour – Enjoy!

I made her gazpacho second – Contrary to his gazpacho, hers is much less complicated..hmph how telling.

☮ 1 Young Thai Coconut

☮ 2 tbs Sour Cream

☮ 2 tbs of lemon juice

☮ 1 Garlic Clove

☮ Handful of Mint

☮ Salt

☮ Pepper

☮ Olive Oil

Please crack your fresh coconut – rough chop your fruit and vegis – add all ingredients to your blender – Blend.

Chill for an hour and Enjoy.

That is it.

Seriously!

So easy and now you have a fresh, sexy gazpacho love.

I have enough gazpacho for the rest of my life. Not really, but kind of.

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes.. Yes it’s True.

Okay. Well a few things we should talk about before I go into my rant about how much I love sweets and pancakes and blah blah blah.

1. I’m a terrible baker.

2. I’m so happy the rainy season is back.

3. Sorry for the lack of blog.

4. I think that’s it for now.

So Cinnamon Roll Pancakes.

Yes here they are in all their glory.. full of cinnamon, brown sugar, sugar, sugar, sugar, etc. You get where I am going with this.

DSC_0198

This is a beautiful pancake..In case you were wondering.

I made terrible cinnamon rolls.. so then I made pancakes. It was depressing – at first and then I made these, which were wonderful-perfect-delicious exactly what I anticipated when I attempted the other. I will perfect the rolls one day I promise. The nice thing about making something terrible is that you still have all the same ingredients to make something wonderful – that being said..

I started with butter.

Nope I’m not Sorry

Just thought I would drop by and give you a boost with a super food recipe!

If you are like me and are living somewhere that is still unbearably hot you might try to pretend you are somewhere different!

Today I am pretending I am in Paris, France

Now let me set the scene for you!

It is rainy, with a chill in the air

&

you have holes in your boots (your freezing)

It is the evening now and you are starting to become hungry.

You look to your left and BAM a Crepe stand is directly parallel from where you are standing.

There couldn’t be a more perfect treat!

The only problem is you cannot eat another sweet thing after the jelly filled croissants and vanilla, pistachio macaroons your sweet tooth is all used up!

With that in mind you mosey on over anyways..hoping for some sort of solution to put your grumbling stomach at ease!

And there it is on the sign!!

Savory Pumpkin Crepes with Camembert, Kale, Spinach & Portobello

“Oh my heaven”

You think to yourself, “the gods have answered my calling!!”

You walk right up and order two.

Fabulous Fall

Hi Kiddes,

Welcome to my favorite season of the year.

As you know it is officially Fall, HOORAY!! It is about time. Fall brings all things good; Family, Holidays, Scarfs, Cold Weather (except in Florida) Hot Drinks & most importantly FOOD! For some odd-wonderful reason there is such a specific genre of food that is generally made only during this glorious season;

Pumpkins, squash, sweet potatoes, apples, cinnamon, nutmeg..like I said all things good.

Cooking in Fall is not only wonderful, but fun too:time to break out the soup pots, casserole pans, tea kettles, oven gear etc.
-yay comfort food-

If you are a locavore, you will love this post. If you are a seasonal foodie, you will love this post.

If you are like me and just love Fall, you will love this post.

I have entered Fall 2012 head on and in an intense way, I am proud to say that I have taken full advantage of this fall season and have already experimented with some of my favorite Fall foods.

Nutmeg Mac & Cheese

Butternut Squash & Apple Soup

and as of today

Sweet Potato Pancakes with Gorgonzola Chive Cream

Now get excited all, this Fall I am planning on trying out each and every seasonal fruit and vegetable in new festive recipe.

The semi-conventional list for travelers

First and foremost.

When you are packing KNOW what season you are packing for.

As comical as it sounds it is true.

If you have never traveled before.. the land of magical Europe and beyond seems like a seamless place with perfect weather, creepy transportation and scary hostels (thanks to the movies)

So in the mind of the adolescent traveler shorts, dresses, tank tops, sandals and a pair of tennis shoes is all you might need.

WRONG

Here is the list I wish I would have known to pack with because as I found out ANYTHING can happen.
